so what palms are you all growing?

as per title,over there you have so much more scope for growing these plants,here in the uk,we are quite limited as to what we can rely on to survive our winters,in some cases even the ‘bone hardy’ trachycarpus fortuneis have been battered

Well, Here is a location of my self Zone 6a or 6b Plainfield Indiana.  As Some people Think we are a Zone 5b. How things are going for the pass few winters we have not even got passed -5F(-20.5C). Just this year the lowest was -3F(-19.4C). To me I think its safe to say I should start growing palms in my yard. Here is the list far that am about to buy: 1. 2 Nettle palms(Doing a test with one of them) Dwarf Palmetto, Trachycarpus Fortunei(I have some that are Growing from seed at this time. Am thinking about also Pindo palm and Mexican Palmetto Palm. Now my Bananas Just a Japanese Fiber Banana.
