Angel’s Trumpets Brugmansia is a genus of seven species of flowering plants in the family Solanaceae, native to subtropical regions of South America. They are known as Angel's Trumpets, sharing that name with the closely related genus Datura. There are literally dozens of hybrids available, with flower coming in shades of white, peach, pink, orange or yellow. The show-stopping hanging trumpet-shaped flowers of angel's trumpet make this a delight for any garden. It is tropical and grows best in gardens in Zone 8-11, but it can be used as a container plant and brought inside when cool. Angel's Trumpets can be grown as either a shrub or a tree.
